[Verse 1] Just a little church on the corner But the doors swing open wide Table set for the broken We saved you a seat inside Stories written into every scar Grace in every hand we hold We remember what He started We are watching it unfold [Chorus] We are 12 Stones Assembly Stacked high where the river once flowed Like Israel crossing through the Jordan We stand here to testify Every stone says “God was faithful” Every life says “Jesus saves” We are 12 Stones Assembly Built to show His name [Verse 2] The stone is rolled away to lead us out into the streets Mending fences, clearing gardens Lifting up the ones in need Finding beauty in the broken Planting hope in every soul Bringing neighbors to the Healer Who can make the spirit whole Not a stage for shining halos Just a field where seeds are sown Doing what our Savior told us “Go and make My mercy known” [Chorus] We are 12 Stones Assembly Stacked high where the river once flowed Like Israel crossing through the Jordan We stand here to testify Every stone says “God was faithful” Every life says “Jesus saves” We are 12 Stones Assembly Built to show His name [Bridge] Twelve stones from the riverbed Joshua said “Let the children ask why” “We were stuck But the Lord made a pathway” Now the memory will never run dry So when they see us standing here together Serving Washing feet Lifting the least Let them ask “How did you get over?” We will point them straight to Jesus Our Lord and Savior (oh oh) [Chorus] We are 12 Stones Assembly Stacked high where the river once flowed Like Israel crossing through the Jordan We stand here to testify Every stone says “God was faithful” Every life says “Jesus saves” We are 12 Stones Assembly Doing what our Jesus said that day: “Love the lost Feed My sheep Lift the cross Follow Me” We are 12 Stones Assembly Just a sign that Jesus still sets captives free.
