πΆ Song 156 β Beyond All Borders
Paper 156 β The Sojourn at Tyre and Sidon πΆ Song: Beyond All Borders (Introduction) To Tyre and Sidon Jesus came, Still teaching truth, still God's the same. Beyond all borders, race, and land, The Father's love would firmly stand. (Verse 1 β The Syrian Woman) A mother came with faith so bright, Seeking mercy, seeking light. Though others tried to turn away, She would not leave that place that day. "My child is suffering, hear my plea, I know your Master can set her free." Jesus saw her trusting heart, And spoke the healing to impart. (Chorus) Beyond all borders, beyond all walls, The Father's love embraces all. No race nor nation stands apart, The kingdom lives within the heart. Great is the faith that dares believe, Great is the soul that will receive. The Father's mercy, strong and true, Flows now to me and flows to you. (Verse 2 β In Sidon) The Gentiles heard with open minds, Leaving fear and creeds behind. They saw in Jesus something more, The God whom every soul longs for. Not only was the Master divine, They saw God's nature brightly shine. The love they witnessed day by day, Revealed the Father's living way. (Verse 3 β The Bridge) Crossing a bridge the Master said, "Do not build here your lasting bed. This world's a bridge you travel through, A path that leads eternity to you." The passing years, the earthly race, Are not our final dwelling place. We journey onward toward the light, Guided by faith and heavenly sight. (Verse 4 β Along the Coast) Through coastal towns the gospel spread, New hope arose where fear had fled. The strangers listened, hearts made new, And many faithful followers grew. The kingdom reached the distant shore, And opened every waiting door. The Father showed through every land, His saving love for all mankind. (Verse 5 β The White Lily) The lily grows from mud below, Yet toward the sun its petals glow. So mortal man may rise above, Through truth and faith and Father's love. Though earthly roots in soil remain, The spirit reaches heaven's plane. The soul grows upward day by day, As light transforms the mortal clay. (Verse 6 β Overcoming Temptation) Temptation comes from fears within, Not always from some outward sin. The Master taught a better way, To let a higher love hold sway. Beauty conquers what is wrong, Truth becomes the spirit's song. Not by force nor endless fight, But by walking toward the light. (Verse 7 β The Father's Love) Love only those who love you back? Then something greater still you lack. The Father's love forever flows Especially where deep need grows. The lonely heart, the weary soul, The broken life He seeks to hold. Divine affection freely given, Brings mortal hearts a taste of heaven. (Bridge β The Living Soul) Judge not your soul by yesterday, Nor by mistakes along the way. The Father's eye is fixed above, Upon your longing truth and love. Your destiny is not your fall, But how you answer heaven's call. Each step in faith, though small it seems, Moves closer to eternal dreams. (Finale) From Tyre they turned toward Galilee, Preparing what the world would see. A new religion soon would start, The living God within man's heart. The journey passed, the lesson stayed, And through the years has never faded: Faith can lift the soul above, And all creation lives in love. πΆππ
