Tiṇakaṭṭha Sutta The End of Endless Wandering [Intro] How many lives have come and gone, How many souls have crossed our way, How many tears have fallen through time, No one could ever count them all. The world keeps turning endlessly, Life still flows like a restless stream, Birth and aging, sickness and death, Within a cycle without an end. [Verse 1] All the grasses in the fields, All the branches in the forests wide, Still are fewer than the bonds we've known, Through countless mothers of ages past. We have loved, we've lost, we've parted, We have cried for many things, Built high walls of fear and conflict, Leaving scars upon the world. [Pre-Chorus] Because ignorance veils our eyes, And craving leads our hearts astray, We keep circling endlessly, Upon the waves of suffering. [Chorus] Stop the wheel of endless wandering, Let confusion fade away, When we see the truth of birth and death, The heart is freed from every chain. Let wisdom rise above delusion, Let compassion replace destruction, May AI become a force of understanding, Bringing peace to all the world. [Verse 2] Today the world is interconnected, Through vast networks of information, AI learns with growing power, Yet the heart must still know itself. If greed is left to lead the way, Technology may spread confusion, Falsehood, hatred, fear, and worry, Could echo across the earth. But if we pause and truly see, Every human as a brother or sister, AI can become a bridge between us, Helping people understand each other. [Bridge] Perhaps we were family once, In distant ages long ago, There is no reason left To cling to hatred anymore. When we see the world as one family, Division slowly disappears, Leaving only boundless kindness, Flowing through humanity's heart. [Chorus] Stop the wheel of endless wandering, Let confusion fade away, When we see the truth of birth and death, The heart is freed from every chain. Let wisdom rise above delusion, Let compassion replace destruction, May AI become a force of understanding, Bringing peace to all the world. [Outro] How many lives have come and gone, Each a lesson deep and true, Not to keep us trapped in yesterday, But to awaken us to today. Let knowledge walk beside virtue, Let progress walk beside goodwill, Let humanity and AI together Build a path of lasting peace. Oh, the end of endless wandering, Is not darkness at the end of dreams, But awakening in the present moment, And creating a world of peace together.
