Shalom Begins Here Verse 1 Before the mountains touched the sky, Before the stars were set on high, Your heart was speaking life and grace, Calling every soul by name. Not a word of empty sound, But heaven’s promise coming down; Peace that builds and peace that stays, Lighting up our darkest days. Pre-Chorus When You speak, hope comes alive. When You breathe, dry bones arise. Chorus Shalom begins here, deep in our hearts, Healing what’s broken, mending the parts. Nothing forgotten, nothing to fear, Love has a voice, and shalom begins here. Hope for tomorrow, grace for today, Leading Your children into Your way. From generation unto generation, Shalom begins here. Verse 2 Not just the ending of a fight, But living daily in Your light. Hands that serve and hearts that give, Teaching us the way to live. Building homes that always stand, Walking humbly hand in hand. Leaving blessings where we go, Planting seeds that heaven grows. Pre-Chorus Every promise You fulfill; Every heart You make whole still. Bridge Let the weary find a home. Let the lonely know they’re known. Let forgiveness flood the land; Love is stronger than our plans. Every child, every nation, Every tribe and every tongue, Standing together, singing forever: “Your Kingdom come.” Final Chorus Shalom begins here, shining so bright, Turning our darkness into Your light. Nothing is missing where You are near; Heaven is calling, “Shalom begins here.” Faith for the future, mercy so clear, Your perfect peace is drawing us near. Forever we’ll sing with one declaration: Shalom begins here. Ending Shalom begins here… In every heart surrendered. Shalom begins here… Forever and ever.
