Raging storms inside no one can see, 
No weather pattern predicted,
It’s a destruction of the mind, 
a battle inside, 
And we never see it comin, 
It’s tornados n hurricanes with gale force winds,

Spinning the minds thoughts n raining down loss,
Laughing at us as we walk around lost,
Spending all our time, 
wondering why, 
these thoughts pollute our minds,
Takes us right back,
to the start of it all,
and we forget the reason why we came in here at all,
We can’t remember what caused us to spin,
Here we are all over again…..

Raging storms inside no one can see,

It’s a destruction of the mind, 
a battle inside, 
And you never see it comin, 
It’s tornados n hurricanes with gale force winds,

Just when we get to the point of functioning,
We remember what it was that we had to do, 
see the clock on the wall and now we’re  late,
Spinning again and our minds are a mess, 
storm clouds on the move,
Raining down on the calm we just found, 
drowning the frozen you,
Relentless winds are blowing debris of negativity, 
that smack us in the face repeatedly,
Followed by tornados n hurricanes,
with gale force winds that’r here to choke us out again,

Through the storms we wear our happy faces,
In the real world we have to function in public places, 
Our ADHD is highly misunderstood,
excused as excuses,
Sometimes I wanna take this brain,
And swap it for theirs,
just to see the look on their faces,
when they feel what it’s
like to deal with this for just a moment,

And then see if they understand, 
what it’s like to live with the thoughts that’r suddenly flooded by these storms within……
