Verse 1 — Creator God = Jesus Before the world was breathing, Before the stars could shine, You — Father, Son, and Spirit — Already wrote the storyline. The God who spoke out, “Let there be,” Is the Jesus that I know; The One who shaped the heavens Is the One who loves my soul. Pre‑Chorus And even when we hid in shadows, Your mercy chased us through the night… Chorus — The Hook You’re the One who spoke the light, And the One who stepped inside All the darkness we were stuck in, Just to bring us back to life. You’re the First and You’re the Last, Every promise You designed; Jesus, You’re the God of Genesis And the Savior of mankind. Verse 2 — Redemption was planned You entered our long story, The Word in human skin; The God who formed the mountains Let nails go through His hands. You carried every sorrow, You paid the debt we owed; The Lamb who died to save us Is the God who made the globe. Pre‑Chorus And now Your kingdom breaks the darkness, And Your light is shining still… Chorus You’re the One who spoke the light, And the One who stepped inside All the darkness we were stuck in, Just to bring us back to life. You’re the First and You’re the Last, Every promise You designed; Jesus, You’re the God of Genesis And the Savior of mankind. Bridge — The Mission There are people lost in shadows, Who don’t know the light has come; But You send us with Your treasure — The glory of the Son. And we carry it in weakness, But Your power makes it shine; Till the world You planned from ages past Is restored in Your design. Final Chorus You’re the One who spoke the light, And the One who stepped inside All the darkness we were stuck in, Just to bring us back to life. You’re the First and You’re the Last, Every promise You designed; Jesus, You’re the God of Genesis And the Savior of mankind.
