Oh, that wonderful, beautiful cross Where the ugliest crime was performed My enemy thought he’d won But in truth he was undone On that wonderful, beautiful cross I found healing I found peace I found deliverance at the cross I found patience I found rest I found salvation at the cross Oh, that wonderful, beautiful cross Where the ugliest crime was performed My enemy thought he’d won But in truth he was undone On that wonderful, beautiful cross I found mercy I found grace I found redemption at the cross I found hope I found joy I found His love at the cross For when the battle was over And He breathed His last breath My blind eyes were opened And I finally could see That all I had searched for all of my life Was right there in front of me Oh, that wonderful, beautiful cross Where the ugliest crime was performed My enemy thought he’d won But in truth he was undone On that wonderful, beautiful cross Oh, that wonderful, beautiful cross Where the ugliest crime was performed My enemy thought he’d won But in truth he was undone On that wonderful, beautiful cross I found all this and so much more On that wonderful, beautiful cross
