🎢 Song 163 – The Harvest Is Great

V6

Paper 163 – Ordination of the Seventy at Magadan 🎢 Song: The Harvest Is Great (Verse 1 – Magadan) By Galilee beneath the rain, The seekers gathered once again. From north and south they came to hear, The Master's voice drawing near. Abner stood among the crowd, Faithful, humble, strong and proud. And Jesus looked on every face, Preparing them to run the race. (Verse 2 – Training for the Kingdom) Peter taught them how to speak, Nathaniel how the truth to teach. Thomas showed how doubts are met, Matthew taught what to protect. turn3search7 Day by day the vision grew, The harvest field came into view. Not merely followers at hs side, But workers sent both far and wide. (Chorus) The harvest is great, The laborers few. The Master is calling, "There's work for you." Go two by two, Let peace lead the way. Carry the Father's love Into every day. (Verse 3 – Lambs Among Wolves) No purse of gold, No earthly power. Only faith for the coming hour. Like lambs among the wolves they went, By heaven's purpose forward sent. Not kings adorned with robes and fame, But servants going in His name. A quiet army moved abroad, Bearing the living word of God. (Verse 4 – The Rich Young Man) A noble heart knelt at His feet, His record pure, his conduct sweet. Yet something held his spirit fast, A chain that earthly wealth had cast. The Master loved him, loved him still, Yet would not override his will. For treasures fade and kingdoms fall, But God alone is worth it all. (Verse 5 – Freedom From Possession) Riches are neither curse nor crown, But weights that pull the spirit down When they become the ruling voice And stand between the soul's true choice. The Kingdom asks a deeper thing: What master rules the heart within? For only those who dare be free Can walk the road of destiny. (Bridge) Not by power. Not by fame. Not by wealth. Not by name. The Father's work goes ever on Through willing hearts from dusk to dawn. (Verse 6 – The Return) The Seventy returned with joy, Like children thrilled with a new employ. Stories filled the evening air, Of lives transformed through faith and prayer. Yet Jesus gently raised their eyes Beyond achievement's brief surprise: "Rejoice not merely in what you've done, But that you walk with the Eternal One." (Final Chorus) The harvest is great, The laborers few. The fields are waiting For hearts made new. Go into the world, Let your light increase. Carry truth and mercy, Carry faith and peace. (Outro) And by the waters of Galilee, The Master sowed eternity. Not only in sermons. Not only in miracles. But in people. Seventy hearts sent forth to become the next harvesters of the Kingdom. πŸŒΎβœ¨πŸ“–πŸ™
