Greater Than Healing

Contemporary Christian gospel reggae, soulful expressive male lead with warm gospel backing vocals and clear call-and-response, organic live-band recording with gentle room ambience, deep melodic bass, clean offbeat guitar, Hammond organ, acoustic guitar, light percussion, warm one drop groove at 78–82 bpm, reflective verses building into a full-band final chorus, quiet bridge and soft outro

[Intro – Gentle Reggae Groove]
They carried him through crowded streets,
A broken man, a desperate need.
They brought him where the Savior stood,
Believing Jesus could do good.
But Jesus saw beyond the pain,
Beyond the body, beyond the frame.
He saw the burden none could see—
A heart that needed to be free.
[Verse 1]
The house was full, the doorway blocked,
But faith refused to be stopped.
They climbed above, they tore the roof,
And lowered him before the Lord.
No words were spoken from his lips,
Yet faith was moving through their steps.
And Jesus saw their trusting hearts
And spoke the words that changed his life.
[Pre-Chorus]
Not just healing,
Not just sight—
Jesus reached the deepest need
And brought the dead heart back to life.
[Chorus]
Your sins are forgiven!
Your shame is washed away!
Greater than healing,
Your grace has made a way.
Rise up, take your bed,
Walk into the light!
The Savior who forgives your sins
Can make your broken life new.
[Verse 2]
The scribes were questioning His words,
“How can He forgive sins?”
But Jesus knew the hidden thoughts
That lived within their hearts.
Then came the word the world could see:
“Rise up and walk, be free!”
The man stood up, he took his bed,
And walked beneath the grace of God.
[Pre-Chorus]
What the eyes could see
Was only part of grace;
The greater miracle had come—
A sinner found his way.
[Chorus]
Your sins are forgiven!
Your shame is washed away!
Greater than healing,
Your grace has made a way.
Rise up, take your bed,
Walk into the light!
The Savior who forgives your sins
Can make your broken life new.
[Bridge – Quiet]
Faith is more than what I feel,
Faith is trusting You are real.
Faith takes one more step ahead,
Even when the path is hid.
When I cannot see the way,
I will trust You day by day.
When my heart is bound by sin,
Your forgiving grace breaks in.
[Bridge – Call and Response]
Leader: What did Jesus say?
People: Your sins are forgiven!
Leader: What did Jesus say?
People: Rise up and walk!
Leader: What did grace bring?
People: Freedom and life!
All:
The broken heart is home again,
The lost are found in Christ!
[Final Chorus – Full Reggae Band]
Your sins are forgiven!
Your shame is washed away!
Greater than healing,
Your grace has made a way.
Rise up, take your bed,
Walk into the light!
The Savior who forgives your sins
Can make your broken life new.
[Final Tag]
Greater than healing—
Forgiveness!
Greater than healing—
Your grace!
Greater than healing—
A heart restored!
Greater than healing—
Jesus, my Lord!
[Outro – Soft]
The bed that once carried him
Became a testimony.
The feet that once could not walk
Now carried him home.
And the grace that healed his body
Had already touched his soul.
Greater than healing,
Your forgiveness makes us whole.
