Paper 142 – The Passover at Jerusalem 🎶 Song: The Father’s Family (Introduction) God the Father, love revealed, In Jerusalem His truth unsealed. Brothers, sisters, hearts made new, In His family, all are true. (Verse 1 – Teaching in the Temple) The kingdom near, the call of grace, Faith in the Father, every face. Love supreme, the law we keep, Brothers strong, the bond is deep. (Verse 2 – God’s Wrath) No wrathful king, no storm above, But Father’s heart of endless love. Changing views, yet truth remains, Brothers freed from fear and chains. (Verse 3 – The Concept of God) From tribal lord to heaven’s King, To Father close, His love we sing. Religion true, the bond we share, Brothers living everywhere. (Verse 4 – Flavius and Greek Culture) Beauty shines, yet worship true, Father adored in all we do. Service given, love’s command, Brothers walking hand in hand. (Verse 5 – The Discourse on Assurance) Children safe in Father’s care, Love eternal, always there. Proof of faith, the love we show, Brothers giving, hearts aglow. (Verse 6 – The Visit with Nicodemus) Born of spirit, life anew, Father’s love forever true. Nicodemus heard the call, Brothers rising, one and all. (Verse 7 – The Lesson on the Family) Not kingdom’s rule, but family near, Father’s love makes brothers dear. Two commands, the gospel’s flame, Love the Father, brothers the same. (Verse 8 – In Southern Judea) South they went, the word was spread, Father’s love by all was fed. Brothers gathered, truth made plain, Family of God shall ever reign. (Bridge – The Father’s Heart) The Father’s love, the light we see, Brothers living in unity. No chosen few, no special place, All embraced by endless grace. (Chorus) God our Father, love proclaimed, Brothers, sisters, hearts renamed. Family strong, the gospel clear, Love of God and man sincere.
