🎢 Song 152 – The Bread of Life Is More

V6

Paper 152 – Events Leading up to the Capernaum Crisis 🎢 Song: The Bread of Life Is More (Verse 1 – At Jairus's House) "Fear not, only believe," Hope can still what grief perceives. The healing touch was not the way, Living faith prevailed that day. (Verse 2 – Feeding the Five Thousand) Five small loaves and fishes two, Multiplied by love so true. Sheep were gathered, hungry, worn, Mercy fed the waiting throng. (Verse 3 – The King-Making Episode) "Make him king!" the people cried, Seeking bread and earthly pride. "My kingdom is not of this world," A higher banner was unfurled. (Verse 4 – Simon Peter's Night Vision) Across the waves through fear and night, Peter searched for heaven's light. "Be not afraid, for it is I," Faith still hears that calming cry. (Verse 5 – Back in Bethsaida) "Miracles cannot save the soul," Signs alone do not make whole. Eyes must open, hearts must see, The kingdom lives eternally. (Verse 6 – At Gennesaret) Emotion fades, applause grows dim, But truth endures for those with him. Appeal unto the spirit within, Where faith and transformation begin. (Verse 7 – At Jerusalem) Dark clouds gathered o'er the way, Opposition grew each day. Yet through the trial, clear and bright, The Father's truth remained the light. (Bridge) Not by power, not by throne, Not by wonders widely known. But by the spirit born above, The soul awakens to God's love. (Chorus) The Bread of Life is more than bread, More than words the prophets said. More than kingdoms men desire, More than fame and earthly fire. The Bread of Life is living truth, Calling age and calling youth. In every heart where faith shall rise, The Father's kingdom never dies.
