Humans around the globe wrapped up in unnecessary stress I’m driving down the highway swerving back and forth Poetry fills my heart cave, cars all around me, humans playing silly games Ants on a rampage If the world’s gonna fall away i'll do my damage rhythmically Wandering through eternity pondering possibilities He's a tumbleweed tumbling, a human being rummaging through the night Fill my heart with knowledge, drinking wisdom from the Universe I dance on sound-waves, a creature of the streetlight Staring at the skyscrapers, wonder if i'll jump later Staring at the stars I dream of taking off, becoming a galactic traveler My body is a vessel, fly to another dimension, drift off endlessly I’m out of my mind drifting through outer-space Inside another realm inside my mind I travel on through endless city streets No problems, just the daily grind, suicide, murder and TV in the evening Consumed in a cocoon, reality no bigger than society's eyesight Sleep tight everybody, wake up in the morning, yawning Drip, drip, drip goes the coffee, dirty water sipping Step out the front door breathing in smog and emissions We toil like children throwing mud pies at each others perceptions Ants on a rampage Humans around the globe wrapped up in unnecessary stress I’m driving down the highway swerving back and forth Poetry fills my heart cave, cars all around me, humans playing silly games Ants on a rampage Humans around the globe wrapped up in unnecessary stress I’m driving down the highway swerving back and forth Poetry fills my heart cave, cars all around me, humans playing silly games Ants on a rampage
