[Intro: eerie glockenspiel, bleak low drone, very soft female breath]

[No drums, no guitars, fragile funeral lullaby]

[Verse 1: soft intimate female vocal, clean whispered singing]
The coffin is open
My last breath is stolen
And you bury me
Sinking free
Bleak decree, my cold destiny
In the shroud
No more proud

[Pre-Chorus: low drone grows, distant tom heartbeat, rising tension]
The poison is soaking
My dead heart is choking
And I face the grave
Losing brave
Your dead slave, beneath the dark wave

[Break: sudden silence]

[Chorus: massive downtuned drone guitars, thunderous half-time drums]

[Female vocal opens wide, tragic and fully sung]

[Singing lead guitar hook, devastating melodic lift]
The hourglass has broken
Your blood is still flowin'
And I'm feeling high
Feeling fine
Ain't it nice? It's so divine
I've got it bad
And I'm mad

[Verse 2: guitars cut out, glockenspiel returns, soft wordless lament]
Oh
Oh
Oh

[Verse 3: eerie whispered singing, clear diction, slow unstable pulse]
The cold steel is pressing
My carcass confessing
And I start to die
No more cry
Sighing high, under the black sky
Bound to rot
Cold and caught

[Break: abrupt silence, one glockenspiel note rings]

[Chorus: heavier return, wider drums, denser guitars]

[Layered female harmonies, warm tragic hook]
The hourglass has broken
Your blood is still flowin'
And I'm feeling high
Feeling fine
Ain't it nice? It's so divine
I've got it bad
And I'm mad

[Bridge: suffocating slow drone wall, ceremonial drums]

[Female vocal close and trembling, rising into full lament]
The death-knell is ringing
My final bell is bringing
And I freeze so deep
In my sleep
Corpses weep, a secret to keep
In the mud
Drowned in blood

[Break: total silence]

[Final Chorus: maximum intensity, crushing drone guitars, thunderous drums]

[Huge tragic harmonies, desperate lead-guitar melody]
The hourglass has broken
Your blood is still flowin'
And I'm feeling high
Feeling fine
Ain't it nice? It's so divine
I've got it bad
And I'm mad

[Outro: soft glockenspiel, fading bleak drones, no drums]

[Female vocal very close, quiet and mournful]
Funeral shroud and corset...
