In a little while the Lord will come Descending in the clouds, we will see Him In a little while He’ll claim His bride In a little while the trump will sound It will be heard by all around The saints will hear the joyful sound In a little while the dead will rise In a little while those who are alive Will also rise to meet Him in the skies When all this will happen Only the Father knows We wait, anticipating that grand and glorious day He’s coming back He’s coming back In just a little while He’s coming back As swift as lightning In the blink of an eye The saints will be gathered home As we meet Him in the sky In a little while all those who don’t believe In a little while all those who scoff at me Will be left behind in a dark and lonely world In a little while, they’ll know for sure That Jesus Christ is Lord of all the earth They have missed the call of heaven Don’t be one of them, make Jesus Lord today Then you will be with those who rise that glorious day He’s coming back He’s coming back In just a little while He’s coming back As swift as lightning In the blink of an eye The saints will me gathered home As we meet Him in the sky There will be no more sickness There will be no more pain There will be no more sorrow In heaven where He reigns We will sing with the angels We’ll rejoice with the saints We live in our mansions Forever and a day In a little while When all this will happen Only the Father knows We wait, anticipating that grand and glorious day He’s coming back He’s coming back In just a little while He’s coming back As swift as lightning In the blink of an eye The saints will me gathered home As we meet Him in the sky In just a little while
