[Verse 1] Friends, the time has come Feel it in your bones Dust on your old name Wash it off, go home The floor beneath you shakes Not to break, to rise You’ve been heavy long enough Now look with new eyes [Pre-Chorus] Take my hand Step through the flame Leave the fear Say your true name [Chorus] Spiritual ascension (Spiritual ascension) Spiritual ascension We are rising now Spiritual ascension (Spiritual ascension) Spiritual ascension Nothing can hold us down [Verse 2] There’s a door in the dark And it knows your face Every wound you carried Turns to holy grace We were made for more Than the ground can see Old chains on the porch New light on the key [Pre-Chorus] Take my hand Step through the flame Leave the fear Say your true name [Chorus] Spiritual ascension (Spiritual ascension) Spiritual ascension We are rising now Spiritual ascension (Spiritual ascension) Spiritual ascension Nothing can hold us down [Bridge] Breathe in Let it lift Breathe out Let it shift What was buried grows What was lost returns Every heart that breaks Is a heart that learns [Final Chorus] Spiritual ascension (Spiritual ascension) Spiritual ascension We are rising now Spiritual ascension (Spiritual ascension) Spiritual ascension Nothing can hold us down Spiritual ascension (Spiritual ascension) Spiritual ascension We are rising now
