Raajeesh became attracted to and concluded early on during his formative years that Hindi folk music shares quite a few similarities with bluegrass, From its use of traditional instruments and storytelling through song to how both genres often feature lively rhythms and communal participation, reflecting the cultural narratives and daily lives of their respective communities - immediately resonnated, and upon this realization the artist we now know as Raajeesh Gaanv (Village) came to be, Raajeesh employ the finest of his native musical heritage and it's instruments to make his mark on bluegrass through his long lasting passion for the genre and storytelling
