The Summer of Suno, Vol. 2

We recently announced we are paying $1 million to the top Suno creators in 2024. We kicked things off last month with The Summer of Suno, Vol. 1, where 500 creators won a total of $100,000. Jayden p/k/a @AroundOnce, who discovered a talent for songwriting while playing with Suno, won $10,000 as the creator of the top song MAYBE?! from The Summer of Suno, Vol. 1.

The Summer of Suno, Vol. 2

Today, we are pleased to present The Summer of Suno, Vol. 2. The community has shared some incredible stories recently, and we'd love to hear more of them. The Summer of Suno, Vol. 2 will run for the next two weeks, and the theme is music that moves us. We'll be paying the next $100,000 from the $1 million prize pool to creators who share videos featuring reactions to songs they've made with Suno.

Enter The Summer of Suno, Vol. 2

Videos must feature real people to be considered. While not required, sharing your videos on social media and tagging us at @suno_ai_ on X and @sunomusic on Instagram and TikTok will help your videos stand out. We love videos describing special moments, but we love videos featuring actual footage from those special moments even more. We leave the rest to you and your creativity, but here are some ideas for the types of videos we'd love to see:

    ◦ Reaction videos of friends and family members listening to songs you made them

    ◦ Footage of dancing, vibing or singing along to songs you've made with Suno

    ◦ Stories of the fun, clever, interesting, exciting, heartwarming ways you're using Suno

    ◦ Jam sessions where you're singing or playing an instrument alongside Suno

The $100,000 prize pool will be split evenly across 200 creators based on quality, originality and creativity, and each of them will receive a cash prize of $500. We'll feature some of the videos on social media and potentially a community feedback page on our website, and we'll add free credits to creators' accounts who share videos that are not ultimately selected.

Event Details

The Summer of Suno, Vol. 2 will run for two weeks from today, July 15, 2024, through 11:59 PM ET on July 31, 2024. You are eligible to participate if you are 18 years old or older and have an active account that's in good standing with Suno. We want to reach as many creators as possible, so you can submit as many videos as you would like to maximize your chances of being selected, but eligibility will be limited to one prize per creator. We are pleased to expand eligibility to participate to creators based in India, Israel and Japan. You can find an updated list of eligible countries here:

The Summer of Suno (Eligible Countries)

Payouts are inclusive of fees and will be issued via PayPal within 30 days of the end of the event on July 31, 2024. If you are unable to accept payment via PayPal, we will not be able to issue your payout, and it will be returned to the pool for future events. We may be required to issue creators receiving annual payouts of $600 or more a 1099-MISC.
