The Summer of Suno

We released our first product eight months ago, allowing anyone to make a song with just a simple idea. 12 million of you have now made music with Suno, and we have been deeply inspired by the songs you have created. We've seen friends exchanging memes, couples trading love songs and streamers co-creating songs with stadium-sized audiences. Some creators make songs for others, while others play, explore and make songs for themselves.

We are very excited to announce that throughout the remainder of 2024, we will be paying a total of $1 million to these creators who are bringing us closer to music, and each other, with Suno. We are kicking things off with the Summer of Suno, a celebration of the songs that move us as a community — whether they make us bob our heads, tap our feet, laugh, cry or simply say "wow."

SoS Vol. 1 | June 2024

The Summer of Suno (SoS), Vol. 1 starts tomorrow on Saturday, June 1st. We are paying out the first $100,000 of the total $1 million prize pool to the creators of the top 500 songs made with Suno during the month of June. All public songs will be automatically enrolled in SoS Vol. 1, and song rank will be determined by popularity as measured by a combination of plays, likes and shares. The top creators will receive the following payouts, with a first-place prize of $10,000:

We encourage you to share your songs with friends, family and coworkers. The most popular songs are usually shared even more broadly on social media platforms like X, Instagram and TikTok. To help broaden your songs' reach:

Eligibility & Payouts

Songs must be public and created between 12:00 AM ET on June 1, 2024 and 11:59 PM ET on June 30, 2024 to be eligible for SoS Vol. 1. We want to reach as many creators as possible, so eligibility is limited to one song per creator.

You are eligible to participate if your account is in good standing with Suno, you are in compliance with our Terms of Service and you are 18 years old or older. We hope to expand the reach of the Summer of Suno, but we're only able to issue payments to creators in the following countries at this time:

The Summer of Suno | Eligible Countries

Payouts are inclusive of fees and will be issued via PayPal within 30 days of the end of the event on June 30, 2024. If you are unable to accept payment via PayPal, we will not be able to issue your payout, and it will be returned to the pool for future events. We may be required to issue creators receiving annual payouts of $600 USD or more a 1099-MISC, which will apply immediately to the creators placing 1st through 5th for SoS Vol. 1.
