After nearly 30 years of writing lyrics and melodies, AI has finally unlocked my ability to produce the music I love. As a philosophy teacher, I’ve thought deeply about AI and creativity. When I bring my own melodies, lyrics, and decades of experience to the table—sifting through and shaping what the tech provides—AI becomes a powerful tool, not much different from a mixing desk. It bridges the gap for someone who wouldn't otherwise have access to a full studio or a traditional music career. My journey spans 33 years in the underground and popular music scenes—from school choirs, learning guitar and piano, and teenage PC music making, to being an MC and DJ. After being funneled into academia, I’m reclaiming my first love at 47, following recent ADHD and pending autism diagnoses. These Deep House, House, and Techno tracks are the product of a long, often painful journey. I still bring the talent, creativity, and curation; AI just helps me bring it to life.
