IG: @iamvpoetry Welcome. I’m a poet who discovered that some words don’t simply want to be spoken or read. They want to be sung. Like my poetry, these songs are written from both male and female voices because I’m interested in the human experience more than the point of view. Love, grief, longing, joy, wonder, desire, healing—none of these belong to one gender. They belong to all of us. Every lyric you’ll hear is my own, inspired by living, loving, learning—and a lot of suffering. One of the great gifts of this creative season has been hearing words that once lived only on a page become melodies, harmonies, and songs. It continues to surprise me. I’m deeply grateful that I get to experience my writing in this way. I’m equally grateful for the extraordinary community of songwriters and creators whose work fills this space with beauty and imagination. Your music continually inspires me, and I’m thankful to be sharing this journey alongside you.
