About

I am currently the Cypres Family Distinguished Professor in Legal Studies in Business at Hofstra University's Frank G. Zarb School of Business where I teach undergraduate and graduate law-related courses. I have a Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law and a B.A. from Queens College, CUNY (English Honors Program ). I am also an attorney licensed in New York, the author of a dozen textbooks and reference books on law and computer software, articles in academic peer-reviewed journals and law reviews on various topics relating to law and ethics. In addition to publications in my primary field, I also published short story and poetry collections and a novel. Most recently, I've begun creating music through SUNO from my copyrighted poems and lyrics created over a period of more than four decades as well as new lyrics created specifically for use in my SUNO music creation. My interest in music and writing is long standing--from my teens through the present. I have eclectic tastes reflected in my songs here, though I am primarily drawn to rock, pop, and country and the traditional forms of poetry, but am happy to roam out of my comfort zone in English and Spanish.
