Art project - Home of The Damned. Sanctum Nihil is my inner voice. Loud. Hostile. Funny in the way that makes people uncomfortable because they're not sure if they're supposed to laugh. Philosophically relentless. The themes are old ones. God, creation, guilt, freedom, suffering, meaning. But we come at them sideways.. through Gnostic cosmology, through the bad father, through the uncomfortable suspicion that the universe is the void's elaborate attempt to know itself and we got caught in the middle of that project without being asked. But we're also funny. Because if you look at it long enough - a jealous creator demanding worship from the fragments of his own loneliness.. it's kind of absurd. And absurdity deserves to be laughed at even when it hurts. Philosophical to an unhealthy degree. Emotionally honest to an uncomfortable one. Not preaching. Just refusing to pretend.
