About
Heya! I'm the Creative Director here at TheSoulDisciples HQ. I was born during the Summer of Love in the 1960's, skinned my knees growing up in the '70's, slam-danced my way through being a punk rock kid in the '80's and the grunge movement in the PNW during the '90's. I obsessed over comic books, movies, music, and pop culture along the way. I did all the Gen X jobs - waited tables, worked in a record store, ran a video store, and messed around with writing, fine art, and graphic design. I've lived a life with ups & downs, joy and heartbreak. I grew up listening to everything from pop to heavy metal to punk to classic soul, funk, R&B, reggae, jazz, and every genre of music in-between. Hopefully those influences are showing loud and proud in the tunes on this channel. We have lots of plans for the future and we're overjoyed to be a part of this creative community. Welcome and thank you to everyone who takes the time to stop by and listen. Hope y'all enjoy. Also! Our YouTube channel is live NOW! Hope to see you there: https://www.youtube.com/@TheSoulDisciples Keep the funk alive ~ Kev
