Hi. I'm a music lover enjoying retirement through deep sonic exploration and handcrafted poetry. I like to call myself, as a joke, a "digital artisan" but the main reason is because I have trouble doing copy and paste with my fingers on the smartphone screen. For me, typing manually is where composition begins; it forces me to decide the weight and order of each instrument straight from my mind. I only use AI as a quick encyclopedia to look up traditional percussion names, but the creative soul of the music is 100% handcrafted. A lifetime of experiencing my favorite artists live has given me a deep musical culture. I draw inspiration from real soundscapes buried in my memory. I also enjoy making short videos of the shows (hiding the smartphone if necessary 😋) and uploading them to my YouTube channel.
