For most of my life, I’ve told stories through words and images. These songs are an experiment to see whether those same instincts can find another form using the creative tools now available. I’m not a trained musician and don’t pretend to be one. I simply know how to tell stories drawn from life, shaped here by the blues, soul, rock and pop music I grew up with, and by the road behind me and the road still ahead.
