Obsidian Theory

Obsidian Theory is a dark conceptual music project built around beauty, contradiction, the questions people are taught not to ask, and the darkness and danger people are taught to fear. Blending everything from cinematic rock, orchestral composition, electronic production, hip-hop influence, gothic atmosphere, and classical elements, each release exists as its own world, sometimes philosophical, sometimes seductive, sometimes horrific, sometimes purely experimental, but always deliberate. Rather than belonging to a single genre or voice, Obsidian Theory treats music as a medium for ideas, atmosphere, and creative exploration. Faith, fear, desire, death, morality, mythology, temptation, forbidden knowledge, and the strange things human beings create to survive the darkness all become material. Some albums begin with a theory and follow the idea wherever it leads. Others begin with a sound, an image, a mood, or a creative experiment, and discover their meaning along the way.
