I’m Mitchell Perry, a multidisciplinary artist and songwriter who makes music at the intersection of emotion, experimentation, and modern storytelling. My work is rooted in pop, but it often drifts into alternative, electronic, atmospheric, and conceptual spaces depending on what the idea asks for. I don’t see genres as boundaries, I see them as tools for translating feeling. For me, music has always been more about process than performance. I write songs as emotional systems places where vulnerability, humor, contradiction, and self-reflection can exist at the same time. Whether I’m writing about ambition, self-doubt, identity, love, or isolation, my goal is always the same: to make something that feels honest and recognizable. Many of my projects are designed as full bodies of work, with internal logic, emotional arcs, and recurring themes. I like albums that feel like worlds, not just collections of songs. At its core, my music is about permission, permission to feel deeply, to contradict myself, to question narratives I’ve outgrown, and to keep creating even when certainty is missing. I’m not chasing trends or quick wins, just telling stories with this amazing technology.
