About
Velvet Hush Muse is the haunting, cinematic return of MissyFoxx—a world-traveled vocalist and songwriter who once recorded in a bedroom in Northampton England and collaborated alongside reggae royalty like Phillip Gadd, Barry Biggs, Willie and Kashief Lindo (music for Dreams), Mikey Chung (Featured on Don't Cry), Winston Francis, and Tony Williams to name a few. She walked away from a gatekept industry sixteen years ago to protect and fiercely raise her children in safety. Now, the silence is broken. Emerging from the shadows with decades of musical DNA, Velvet Hush Muse seamlessly fuses raw, soulful vocals with heavy Gothic Americana, industrial country, and dark pop. This is music born from survival, delivered with an unyielding, unedited voice that refuses to fit into anyone else's box.
