One trait of AuDHD is Injustice Sensitivity. It's a powerful need for fairness, equity, and inclusion, and a drive to speak up or take action when encountering injustice and hypocrisy. The majority of us with Autism grow up being misunderstood, stigmatized, or unfairly judged just for being who we are. This creates a lasting distrust of rules and authority. I'm fairly certain this is why it's cathartic for me to write protest-style music.
