Originally a skilled lead guitarist with aspirations toward the technical level of players such as Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, she shifted her focus to medicine. During her time working in the field, she developed carpal tunnel syndrome, which significantly impacted her ability to play. This change led her to channel her creativity into songwriting, where she discovered a new medium for expression. Leona’s music often incorporates dark fantasy aesthetics. She utilizes AI tools as part of her creative process to support both songwriting and visual development. While much of her current work reflects heavier emotional states, she hopes to eventually create happier and more uplifting music as she continues to grow as an artist.
