Leila Sade

Leila Sade is a U.S. Navy veteran, songwriter, and Founder and CEO of My Story Archive, PBC, a storytelling platform dedicated to preserving autobiographies, lived history, and the emotional truth of human experience. Her artistic work grows from the same core of witness, memory, and the courage to tell one’s own story. A lifelong poet, musician, and performer, Leila writes from deeply personal material, with every song originating as private autobiographical writing. Her music explores identity, invisibility, love, and survival through intimate narrative and emotionally direct lyricism that bridges personal reflection and universal resonance. Working independently across songwriting, production development, and creative direction, she began releasing music in January 2026 as an act of self claiming, choosing expression over perfection. While continuing to develop her skills in engineering, mixing, and production, she brings her songs into finished form rather than leaving them unheard, embracing honesty and immediacy over polish. Her debut album The In Between traces the space between fracture and becoming, songs about breaking, healing, and learning to speak even when unseen.
