Thanks for listening to my songs! I write from mostly perspectives of military life; most often the unseen ones. I want to give a voice to that perspective as much as I can, because there is often a sense of heaviness or commanded silence with serving while carrying grief. I’m a vet, married to a vet and raised by vets. I write about juxtapositions, dualities & linking more of positive in negative…there is a grieving tone in my music wrapped in growth perspective, and hope. I first write my songs as a poem, then change them lyrically and produce them on here until I feel they are the sound I hear in my mind. I’ve always felt emotions as lyrics or songs, even from others experiences-it’s been a natural gift I’ve been able to always do with correctly conveying their feelings in a song. I write incredibly fast, a gift. One day, I’d like to sing them (dramatic contralto)…I am working on that, too. However, until I get there, I wanted to share them to connect and help others here.
