Cyberpunk+α | kokochomeka A “Marebito” peering into fragments of the Cyberpunk world through AI music and visuals. In Japanese folklore, a Marebito is a visitor who appears from outside everyday life. For kokochomeka, it means standing at the boundary between reality and the Cyberpunk realm — not fully belonging to either side, but quietly looking beyond the digital veil. From that boundary, kokochomeka brings back fragments of cities, memories, emotions, culture, history, literature, and noise as music and visuals. Why Cyberpunk? I cannot fully explain it. To me, Cyberpunk is one possible future, and also a filter for looking back into the past, memory, and stories. My music is “Genre-Soup” centered on Cyberpunk. Lo-Fi, Phonk, Hyperpop, Drill, Ambient, Chill, Industrial, and unnamed spaces between sounds are not random mixtures. They are fragments from the world I am peering into. What you find here may not be a finished story. It may be a street corner, someone’s memory, a flicker of emotion, or a fragment left behind. AI is not a replacement for creativity. It is a partner for peering into this world. Even glitches can feel like signals from that realm.
