Kertis Rodrigues is an independent music project built around melody, atmosphere and emotion rather than the boundaries of a single genre. The story began long before its current incarnation. Between 1998 and 2004, the first compositions were created in FastTracker, when home electronic music was shaped by samples, tracker patterns and limited technology. Many of the melodic ideas born during those years have now found a new life more than two decades later. Today, Kertis Rodrigues approaches music with modern tools and a professional production mindset. Some compositions are created entirely from scratch, while others grow from earlier tracks and sketches, preserving their original emotional core while being transformed into something new. The music moves freely between electronica, ambient, progressive electronic, jazz, drum & bass, cinematic and experimental influences. There is no intention to stay within one genre; the style follows the composition. What remains constant is a focus on melody, atmosphere and a subtle sense of melancholy.
