Julie Evocative Durga is a multi-genre songwriter and author forging sound from lived truth and stardust. Guided by emotional clarity, mythic undertones, and relentless Capricorn drive, she builds creative worlds the way she once planned to build a jazz club—brick by brick, heartbeat by heartbeat. A trained vocalist and former instrumentalist who mastered five woodwind instruments throughout middle and high school, Julie’s musical foundation runs deep. Since March 2025, she has written over a thousand songs and more than two dozen books, creating a body of work fueled by discipline, devotion, and unstoppable momentum. Inspired by her three children, her dog Makwa, and the constellations she carries inside her, she transforms memory into chant-ready lyrics, elemental poetry, and stories that linger like echoing hymns.
