About

Kimchi com Café is a project conceived by a Brazilian based in South Korea — at once an electronics technician, a computational linguist, and a university professor — devoted to music that moves freely across an unusually wide constellation of styles and languages, from samba and bossa nova to fado, bolero, psychedelic pop, and beyond. Its repertoire unfolds between original compositions, reimagined songs from other cultures, and diachronic encounters in which ancient poetry is summoned into new sonic life. Many of these songs are written in Portuguese, Esperanto, Korean, Russian, Greek, and other languages, reflecting a lifelong intimacy with linguistic plurality. All tracks are created with Suno AI — not as a shortcut, but as a compositional instrument: a means of releasing into sound the songs, lyrics, and poems that had for too long remained buried in silence.
