The original versions of this material was recorded on a Tascam Porta-Studio in the mid to late 80's. probably up to late 90's. I moved from the UK to the US in 1998 bringing my guitar and the Porta Studio. The Porta Studio then broke down and was left in the basement of a rented apartment in New Haven CT (half intensionally) when I moved to New York in 2005. I meant to return to pick it up but as time passed I just forgot. I then moved back to the UK in 2021 and purchased another Tascam with the intension of recovering some material. I'm moving back to the US again this year and will bring the Tascam to continue the song retrieval. All of the originals are a lot more raw, punk. I am blown away with how SUNO can transform the material although much of the material has moved to what I consider as main stream rock which was never it's intension. I'm a beginner at this process and want to engineer a way to apply the more cutting melodies and vocals to the Suno version. I have a couple of carrier bags of 4 trk material to get through + I lost a few cassettes. I really wanted to try posting the material somewhere before shuffling off this mortal coil.
