Because feelings deserve a soundtrack in full emotional surround sound. Here at Hysterical Female, we had the idea to pair notoriously misunderstood and villainized women from throughout history with modern day pop lyrics. Unfortunately, pop stars are surprisingly hard to get ahold of to propose a collab, so we decided to write our own hits. How hard could it be, right? We wrote the lyrics from the perspective of women history talked over—those labeled too emotional, too much, too dangerous—and now we’re giving them the mic to call out the ones who got away with it. Suno’s AI put our words to music and transformed them into the breakup ballads, revenge anthems, and feminist lullabies we didn’t know we needed.
