Simulation Theory

I've been playing guitar since I was 12 years old and have hundreds of hooks and licks I recorded over the years just sitting in a folder on my laptop. My life is too busy to recruit musicians, put a band together and turn my songs into demos. I discovered I could write lyrics during Covid. Before that I had never tried and had no idea I had a talent for it. All my lyrics are written without the help of AI. I have discovered that if you upload great lyrics, Suno writes some great music for them. It goes both ways with this AI. Input determines output. This platform has given me the ability to be a one-man-band and has renewed my passion for composing and my desire to share my art with others. My style varies wildly from song to song when I begin the creative process with lyrics first. I am for the most part a rock, metal, and blues guitarist and it shows when I play other genres. My lyrics span all genres and are based almost exclusively on shared experiences, observation, and stories. If I write about it, it's because I know about it. My songs aren't always autobiographical. Sometimes I am just walking in someone else's shoes, someone I've met or gotten to know.
