My name is Hannes Ingi Gudmundsson (Mauro) I am half-Icelandic and half-Spanish songwriter. All the songs on the website Suno are dedicated to my son Héðinn Már Hannesson who passed away at the age of 21 on May 21, 2025. My son was always called Mauro (Már) in Spain, so that's where my artist name Mauro comes from on Suno but on others websites for my songs I use my name Hannes Ingi Gudmundsson. June 11th 2026 was a very sad day, my son Héðinn Már's birthday was, June 11th. born in 2003. He would have been 23 years old then. I miss him and think of him every day. My son was a musician and played with the Icelandic band Marsipan which he founded with his classmates at the Technical College. In the year 2023 the band Marsipan won the "Band of the Year" award at Músiktilraunir in Iceland. The profile at the top of the page features a photo of my son Héðinn Már with his band Marsipan. I miss my son every day and think of him. My love for him never ends.
