Faulty Tape

Faulty Tape starts with small human moments and familiar sounds, then pushes them just far enough to come back changed. I was born in the East and live in the West, so my ears never really stayed in one place. Some days it turns into broken pop. Other days it’s garage bounce, folk shadows, cassette dirt, ghost vocals, club fragments, or strange chords that don’t sit where they’re supposed to. I like songs that feel a little damaged, but still leave a hook behind.
