Farrago Thoughts is the musical laboratory for a lyrical archive that has grown over decades. Poetry and verses have been created here since 1995, and at the turn of the millennium, these were supplemented by classic song lyrics. With deep respect for human musicianship and traditional artistry, the project views artificial intelligence not as a replacement, but as a powerful tool. After more than 30 years of writing, this technology now allows the project to give these texts a tailor-made musical setting. Because the lyrical themes span such an immense variety of genres, no single traditional band could ever cover them all. In doing so, Farrago Thoughts knows no genre boundaries—the music always follows the mood of the words. It is an experiment in translating decades of poetry into the soundscape of the present, complemented by the visual art of Tenebris Orna Photography. Enjoy!
