DIE INSTANZ Böblingen, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland DIE INSTANZ is an industrial electronic project born in Böblingen, southern Germany. The group consists of three members who deliberately removed their names and personal identities from the public image: STIMME (voice), MASCHINE (synthesizers, sequencers and programming) and SIGNAL (electronic percussion, noise and samples). They do not give individual interviews, publish conventional promotional portraits or explain who they are. For DIE INSTANZ, individual identity is secondary. The message is the protagonist.
