I started this by writing songs for my wife. I still write songs for her but have loved chasing the melody, the words, and the story to grow as a writer. Sorry, Sweetie - the catalogue is changing but you are still the best muse. The lyrics are all original, and most of the music are my own compositions, created by playing my guitar to develop the melody and structure. I’ve also enjoyed writing lyrics for music shared on Suno and made available for remixes. The styles vary because I grew up on late ’80s and ’90s hard rock and prog rock, R&B, funk, indie acoustic music, and my mother’s and grandmother’s vinyl. I like following the music to find its genre: rock, country, pop, soul, ballads—it all depends on where the idea wants to go. Definitely want to hear your thoughts on music and lyrics.
