Danu Poyner is the founder of Grokkist, a global learning community that celebrates curiosity, care, and the art of becoming. An Australian living in Aotearoa New Zealand, Danu’s work blends philosophy, storytelling, and sound to explore how people make sense of themselves and each other in motion. Grokkistry in Motion is Danu’s first concept album — part sonic autobiography, part experiment in human–AI collaboration. Each track is a musical expression of grokkistry: the living practice of curiosity and care, and the beautiful mess of figuring things out together. Drawing on folk roots, funk rhythms, and the genre-defying aliveness that shaped his upbringing, Danu’s music moves between wit and wonder, reflection and release. It’s a dance between intuition and technology — a playful, heartfelt invitation to keep listening for what’s trying to emerge.
