Just an ordinary Aussie who writes songs about her family and their upbringing. So I guess I'm a storyteller drawing from a life lived across country towns, coastal suburbs, and bush communities. My songs come from lived experience: family, motherhood, hardship, resilience, faith, and the quiet strength of everyday survival. I write in a raw, honest style. I'm the keeper of our family stories. Alongside the deeper songs, I also write humour-filled pieces inspired by everyday Aussie life, family chaos, and the funny side of growing up and getting through it all. I believe laughter and truth often sit side by side, and both deserve a voice in song. Each piece I write is a snapshot of real life: sometimes tender, sometimes gritty, sometimes light-hearted - but always grounded in authenticity and lived experience. In a couple of my later songs I've tried my own untrained ancient voice to give authenticity to personal songs... mmmm
