I’m C. Brian Stevens—a special education paraprofessional and teacher’s aide by day, and a writer, musician, and multidisciplinary creator by every other measure. A creative unicorn, perhaps: I’ve never fit neatly into one category, and I rather like it that way. Also, a book-haunted menace: forever chasing ideas down rabbit holes and connecting stories, music, history, and the wonderfully unexpected. I write original songs inspired by poetry, literature, history, personal reflection, and ideas that refuse to let go. My musical world draws from progressive rock, jazz fusion, classic rock, and whatever else serves the story. I also create carefully curated playlists and produce my own “Rabbit-hole” podcasts to turn curiosity into deeper exploration and learning. Whether I’m shaping a song, building a cinematic story, curating music, or following an idea to its gloriously unexpected conclusion, I’m chasing what lies beneath the surface. For me, music isn’t just something to hear; it’s a way to think, feel, remember, question, and connect.
