Most of the music here is old, reused letters I've written over the years. I'd say about 90% of them were written about/ for one woman. You'll probably hear a pattern if you listen long enough. In a particularly hard period of my life, I was drowning in sadness and needed an outlet. I found that converting my written word into song, eased some of my pain and anxiety.
