I’ve never been much good at staying in one lane. I’m a writer, storyteller, publisher, maker, gardener, and now songwriter and singer. My music grows from the same soil as everything else I create: lived experience, land and labor, family and memory, history and imagination, grief, humor, hard-earned truth, and ordinary days that sometimes go spectacularly sideways. My songs roam freely through folk, Americana, country, blues, rock, Appalachian and Celtic traditions, Southern Gothic, vintage pop and country crossover, old-time music, work songs, layered harmony, comedy and storytelling, sometimes reaching backward through generations of sound while finding new roads forward. I write the words, shape the songs and production, and increasingly bring my own bass-baritone voice and harmonies into the recordings. AI is just another tool in a much larger workshop, never the source of the story. Remember what came before. Tell the truth about what’s here. Make something worth leaving behind.
