I'm Andy Wolfe — a lifelong musician who now uses AI. Piano at six, guitar at ten, then four decades of synths and experimental instruments — old-school tea-chest bass, a Doc Marten 21-eyehole bootlace — through to sequencers, if you have ever programmed an 808 or the mc202 sequencer and used cv gate i salute you, from Cakewalk v1 to Suno today. AI is just the newest instrument in that line — the band and studio I could never afford, finally within reach. I write the songs and direct the films; using the local, solar-powered tools I have limited compute but things have come so far, I could never have dreamed of this setup I now have, feeling blessed. My method is always ideas and lyrics first: every track starts with something close to the heart — my own words and melody, sometimes sparked by others — then grows into something sometimes cinematic, written, arranged, performed and directed by hand, with AI as the toolset I conduct both musically and visually.
